my.accolades

“Simply put, Bob LaBarge is the kind of creative director a client loves. He's a great listener and can objectively interpret research. In the case of the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum account, he used primary research to create a campaign that honors our service men and women, past, present, and future, and effectively markets the museum as an educational, historic national treasure.”

Dick Trammell

Executive Director, Patriots Point Development Authority

“Brilliant, funny, approachable and just amazing to be around - Bob showed me the type of ECD I hope to have the pleasure of working with in the rest of my career. Passionate about the work that his team produces, he pushes you to provide the soundest story and information possible in order to create work that is not only fantastic, but also rings true with the consumer. I valued every opportunity I got to pick his brain as there was always something more to learn from him.”

Samantha Bartle

Insights Manager, Rawle Murdy

“I can’t say enough good things about Bob LaBarge. He possesses all the qualities that make a great business partner and colleague. Bob understands the complete picture - he has keen business sense and understands how to solve client challenges in unique, meaningful and relevant ways. His core discipline may be in the creative department, (where he is a rockstar) but his knowledge of the marketing/advertising industry transcends creative and makes him the quintessential marketing man.”

Erica DeGroff

Insights/Account Director, LaBarge + Partners

“Bob and I worked together as a AD/CW CD team at Rawle Murdy. He possesses a rare mix of right-brained ingenuity, and left-brained follow-through. Bob's entrepreneurial drive and creative problem solving were invaluable in a smaller, independent agency. We used to will campaigns into existence by calling in favors, and he would take many of the production and post-production work on his own shoulders. Bob is poised under pressure, and an all-around team player.”

Henry Mathieu

Freelance Copywriter/Creative Director

“People who work for him and with him absolutely love working alongside Bob. His best work occurs when those around him are still scratching their heads wondering where to start. Chances are, Bob's already envisioned how to get there. But better yet, he takes the time to nurture and coach his team to get on the same page and march in the same direction.

I often joke that Bob's also a pretty good AE because he refuses to work on creative briefs unless the business challenge is succinctly identified. As a result, you can always count on Bob's leadership resulting in ideas and approaches that hit the mark the first time. And in today's world, clients demand getting it right the first time!

Bob and I have a partnership that's not supposed to exist - the account guy and the creative guy get along, respect each other and inspire great work from each other. Why? Because Bob wants to do what RIGHT for his clients, not just win awards do build his portfolio. That's a rarity - and it's a privilege to work with Bob.”

“Bob was a great creative director and one of the best people I have ever worked with and for. He was fun and energetic and always helped us in pushing the envelope. He made me a better Art Director, and to this day, I will always be thankful for having the opportunity to work with him.”
